Numen New Assets: Monsters Screenshots
At this time, we will show you the inhabitants that make up the world of Numen.
Numens
world is made up of endless deserts, dense forests, and damp caves
inhabited by very different creatures which can be hostile or friendly,
wise or dumb. Young heroes are in need of something to train on. In
order to help them in achieving this task, we will show you the
collection of monsters that live at the beginners game levels.
Lucas Macura, Studio Director for Cinemax comments:
“The
game Numen is inhabited by many creatures. Some of them you have seen
before, such as the wild animals, but they have eaten so much that they
have grown to an enormous size. You will also notice the humal-like creatures and other
opponents that are typical of the RPG genre creatures."
Some
of them you will be seeing for the first time. The action of the game
takes place in ancient Greece, so it would be an unforgivable mistake
to forget about all the mythical monsters you learned about in school
and in books and movies. You will find many legendary monsters in the
game, such as the cyclops, harpy, and the centaurs. Skeletons, zombies,
and the fiercest of forest dwellers can be found roaming the grounds of
the neglected tombs and in the dreary fog that wraps itself around the
swamps.
Mechanical warriors and the nomadic tribes can be seen guarding the sand
dunes, and the mighty stone elementales can
make life very difficult for any traveler who dares to disturb their
peaceful land.
These are just a few of the inhabitants that make up this game world and we have yet to even mention the Bosses!
The
total number of Bosses in the game is five, and each comes with its own
unique personality and possesses their own set of devastating spells. In
order to defeat the weakest of these bosses, the player will have to
seriously prepare, and find the right tactics for victory.
Who are these bosses? Try to guess yourself!
Numen will be released at Q3 2008
